LifeVac Saves 105th Life

We are pleased to announce that LifeVac has saved another life in the UK care sector. An elderly male resident who suffers from Dementia and is also a wheelchair user began to choke during mealtime. Staff responded quickly delivering BLS protocol which unfortunately failed to dislodge the food stuck in his airway. The gentleman started to turn blue due to a lack of oxygen. Staff quickly grabbed their LifeVac ACD from the wall-mounted box which they had purchased a week prior.

Within seconds LifeVac was used and dislodged the obstruction saving the gentleman’s life, making a full recovery. He was sent to the hospital due to receiving BLS protocol and was given a clean bill of health.
