Life Saved #2580

On July 24th, 2024, a 5-year-old girl choked on a nacho lunchable resulting in a total obstruction. Protocol was followed but was unsuccessful. LifeVac removed the obstruction on its second use. The child’s mother describes the incident as follows:

“Absolutely saved her life. She was eating a nacho lunchable at the time and put too much in her mouth at once. She was unable to talk or cough and I tried to get the food out of her mouth by Heimlich maneuver and hitting her back but it wasn’t working. Thankfully my mom had given me LifeVac as a gift for Christmas and I was able to use it to dislodge the food. She is doing well now! She was obviously upset after the event but was very thankful as well. She told me “Mommy you saved my life!” which was amazing to hear!  Thank you for your product!!”
